Bella accessories galore!!! Why the internet is your best friend

Okay, so the easiest way I have found to get my Bella stuff has been via the internet. Half of these items I have posted here I found on the net, and I have a slew more of them I'll put up on a later post! My Bella mittens were found at Etsy which has a wonderful listing of handmade Twilight items made by fans for fans. The prices are some of the best I have found so far. I got these for $26, not including the shipping. I LOVE them, and they look super cute with my brown Bella coat which I bought at Target and modified (I'll be posting that later along with how to modify your own!)On to my collection of store bought accessories! My Bella ring I bought at a handcrafters barn in New Hampshire. It's not exactly like hers, but we don't always have to copy exactly, right? On Etsy.com, however, you CAN find exact replicas of both her ring and her turquoise bracelet. My bracelet I found at a thrift store in MA, and I LOVE it. It matches my unicorn purity ring, and that makes me SO happy!

My last item was also an internet find. Ebay has become my best friend over the last few years, and there are a ton of Twilight items for sale there. I found my Saint Jude bracelet there, and I have spotted Bella's beaded bracelet that she wears with it. I'm currently debating as to wheather I whould make mine or not, though.

Some random snaps

I was just having fun with the camera and decided to upload some pics of my Bella transformation. I'll have more up soon!

Last trip to Target!

I found a button down at Target that looks very similar to the one Bella wears at the beginning of the film when she first gets to Forks. Here's me and my new Bella look I'm sporting!

Back at Target

So I was scouting around the net today and I was looking on e-bay for Twilight stuff (what else is new?) I came across something that looked very familiar, and not because it was Twilight related! Bella's bedding from the movie can be found on e-bay I discovered, however its origin? TARGET! I remember months ago when we recieved this bedding, and LOVED it! So if you don't want to spend a butt load on her bedding, I would suggest you hop down over to your local Target and see if you can find it. It's mad by Target Modern Home and it's called Purple Flocked Comforter Set. It should be on clearance!Me enjoying my new "Bella" bed! Now where is Edward....

Fisrt Stop: Target!

Have you ever read those magazines that show you some super model or actress and their outfit then what each piece costs? Of course you gag, then they show you on the next page how you can get their look for less cash. The outfit looks very similar, if not almost exactly the same. Well, being as I don't have a Hollywood budget, I decided to get Bella's look for less in many aspects. I mean Bella is not a rich gal, and she's a hard worker, right? So why should one punish oneself for the sake of a "look." But I digress. Bella has great clothing, both in the book and the movie. Before I saw Twilight, I stopped by Target, where I work and did a little "Bella shopping.) I purchased myself a similar coat to the brown one she wore in the film. It is not wool, but fleece and it's a guy's jacket from Target (where I work). They may be on clearance now, so if you want to get this look, get on over there! And for you gals who have your own Edward and are looking for a great Valentine's gift for them, they have had coats very similar to they grey one that Edward wore in the film there for under $50.

Also, I found in my hunting at Target was her headband! The EXACT same one. It's wicked cheap. It is made by Goody and they come in sets of two: black and navy blue. I'm not sure if they still carry them since November when I bought mine, but it's worth checking out!
So yeah, Target was a great place to start. I'll post pics of myself in these outfits as I can so you can see how they compare!

Welcome!

So you've stumbled across my little place on the web! You must be an avid Twilighter if you have found me, and in that you are certainly not alone! This blog is dedicated to you, my friend! Twilight has a special spot in each of our hearts and has affected us all in many different ways. For me, it has been pure inspiration, both as an artist and a writer. At about the time I discovered Twilight, the movie was very much under way in its filming, and as a film student, I avidly watched and read up on it. In this way I fell in love with Kristen's costumes. Yes, they are refered to as costumes, even though they look pretty average, and they are. Anyone can pick up her style, and that's pretty cool. Through my blog, I'm going to share with you my personal journey into "becomming Bella"--from how to dress to how to act. Bella Swan is a character many of us can identify with, I certainly did, however, always remember to be true to yourself. Being you and being the best you can be is one of the keys to happiness in this life. Bella found Edward by being herself, however, we can pick up some great traits from her if we simply pay attention. It's not hard, because being a Bella means being good. Each blog entry will feature some way you can emulate her, weather it be her style via the books or movie, or her good qualities. I hope you come back often!!!

Be Safe!
